Totally Worth the $8: Wrapping Up Unbuckled 4

2006_0915_Band2.jpg

As we hoped, last night's Unbuckled, starring Middle Distance Runner and the Vita Ruins, was a hell of a show. The Vita Ruins kicked things off with an atmospheric set to a packed DC9 crowd. It's one of the first handful of shows the band's performed, and it went off without a hitch. Middle Distance Runner capped off the evening with an incredibly impressive show -- one that made a lot of fans out of a lot of bloggers. Attractive bloggers. They were tight, energetic, charismatic, and quite simply, they had me at the clap along.

Thanks so much to everyone who came out, the wonderful DJ's of bluestate, both stellar bands, DC9, and of course, the baker who put so much love and deliciousness into the cupcakes. We're happy to report that last night saw no pastry-related injuries.

We'd also like to thank Vince Wadhwani from BuyIndie.net for his help in supplying our fabulous prizes, including six classes at Tranquil Space Yoga, a season pass to Catalyst Theater, and a $100 gift certificate to Carbon.
